A premium vintage e-commerce storefront with seamless checkout, curated product collections, and a conversion-optimized shopping experience.

About the Project

Ambelly Vintage is a high-end e-commerce store built for a curated vintage fashion brand. The project required a shopping experience that felt as premium as the products it sold — fast, elegant, and frictionless from browse to checkout.

Built with Next.js for server-side performance and Stripe for secure payments, Ambelly Vintage is a production-grade storefront that converts.

Where Aesthetics Meet Performance

The challenge was building something that looked editorial and luxurious while maintaining sub-2-second load times and flawless mobile responsiveness. Every design decision was made with the end customer in mind.

Next.js for Speed and SEO

The entire storefront is built on Next.js App Router, with dynamic product pages rendered using SSR and static generation where appropriate. This means product pages load instantly and rank well in search — a direct business advantage for the brand.

Image optimization via next/image ensures product photography loads at full quality without impacting Core Web Vitals.

Stripe-Powered Checkout

Stripe Elements was integrated for a fully custom, branded checkout experience. Cart state management, quantity controls, and order summary are all handled client-side with clean React state — no unnecessary dependencies.

Webhook integration ensures order confirmation and inventory sync happen reliably in the background.

Design System & Tailwind

A utility-first design system was built using Tailwind CSS, ensuring visual consistency across product cards, collection pages, and the checkout flow. Every component scales cleanly from mobile to desktop without a single media query hack.

Built for a Real Brand's Growth

Ambelly Vintage was designed to support a real business — not just look good in a portfolio. The architecture supports product catalog expansion, promotional campaigns, and future integrations without requiring a rebuild.

What This Project Demonstrated

This project proved that a frontend engineer who understands both design and engineering can deliver e-commerce experiences that compete with agencies charging 10x the price. Clean code, premium UI, measurable results.
